The Mario Show is an MLPB video where Mario and friends star in a sitcom.

Synopsis[]

Mario, Luigi, and Peach star in a sitcom.

Plot[]

The video starts with Peach cooking dinner. Mario walks in and asks Peach, "What's cooking?" After Luigi arrives, and makes several bad puns, Mario realizes that they are in a sitcom. He starts to make plans to get the show off the air. First, he and Luigi begin cursing madly (censored), but it doesn't work. Then he decides to call the Wario Bros. He asks them if they want to take the show. They happily accept, and go on TV. After Wario does some slapstick, the "The End" sign falls down, and the show ends. When Wario asks what happened to his show, the producer says that it was canceled due to poor ratings as soon as Wario came on. Before Wario can say anything, he is interrupted by the credits.

Trivia[]

  • The theme song, and ending theme is "Spanish Flea" by Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass. This song is famous for being a "Please Stand By" song.
  • The final part of the intro with Wario, Peach, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Luigi, Yoshi, Mario, and Toad is a parody of "The Brady Bunch" intro.
  • When Luigi tells Mario that he can't phone a friend because it's not a game show. This is a reference to the game show, "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" in which the "Phone-A-Friend" lifeline was used from 1999-2010.
  • The "Gimme Thumbs" at the end of the video parodies commercials for not-profit organizations.
